If you’ve been to a campground recently, you’ve probably encountered a Forest River RV at some point. Even if you haven’t started camping, you’ve probably passed one on the road. Forest River is one of the biggest RV manufacturers in North America and offers some of the best models on the market. Keep reading to learn more!
History
To know how the company got to where it is today, we have to go back to 1996. Peter Liegl had just left a top position with another RV company to use assets to start his own RV manufacturing company, Forest River. The initial lineup of products consisted mainly of some of the most common RV groups, including travel trailers and fifth wheels, but Liegl’s dream didn’t stop there.
As Forest River continued to grow, the company expanded its product line to include other major categories like motorhomes. They also started manufacturing other specialty vehicles, like buses and trailers, and even started creating pontoon boats. In 2005, Forest River became part of one of the largest holding companies in the world, Berkshire Hathaway, which further expanded its network, helping you get even better quality RVs.
RV Options
Speaking of which, you’re probably anxious to get to the RVs themselves. After all, that’s what brought you here, right? Forest River offers all sorts of RVs, ranging from smaller, two-person trailers to big family-sized rigs. Find the model that’ll fit your entire camping party and supply a collection of fantastic features. This can include full kitchens, spacious living areas, and comfortable bathrooms (even two bathrooms if you like).
Choose from several floor plans to find the one that’ll make you feel right at home. This is also true of the decor, making your model more inviting for guests. Some layouts include center islands and master bedrooms with additional private rooms for your kids or guests.
